going to try and watch a hundred films this year, because despite paying for a cinema pass and reading reviews almost non-stop and having virtually any film at my fingertips i always end up seeing five or six new ones a year at best...
if you think this game's been entertaining, wait until you see michael mcintyre and mc freshkutz not watching it for an hour in a big box later - only here on sky sports, the home of football.

might be completely misremembering, but swear we used to buy poppers off an old fella in there when we were about thirteen. had to pretend it was for cleaning videos.

one of the bravest performances i can remember from a british fighter overseas. had mason by two rounds, but great to watch. didn't think noakes had that in him. they've got to do that again.
much as i like sam noakes, and think he's doing more than alright here, mason looks like an extremely classy operator. quicker, smarter, better footwork, much superior jab, wider range of punches, probably more gears to go through. entertaining fight, but only going one way.

really good piece in @wsc.co.uk this month about the upturn in fortunes of faroese football - wins against czech republic and montenegro, holding their own against the likes of croatia, georgia and poland, and clubs reaching the late qualifying rounds of the champions league. great story.

this is one of the best hours of television i've ever seen. can't remember many factual series as effecting. ken burns' series on vietnam probably the last thing that had that level of impact on me. everyone should find time to watch it.
