fun fact: the irs knew this was gonna happen and put the source on github like a year ago, it doesn't have 100% of the functionality since some of it was irs backend proprietary but it's been forked a bajillion times now

I wish New Vegas clicked with me at the time. I'll have to revisit it at some point, but the story never grabbed me, and the faction interactions felt like I was making hidden numbers go up in a spreadsheet rather than immersively grappling with my place in the world.

Every time the electric guitar riff kicks in at around the 3:50 mark, it makes my head involuntarily shake. Only happens when I'm wearing headphones, and I guess it has something to do with only being in the left channel at first music.youtube.com/watch?v=lAuV...

Don't know if anyone else has noticed but brainygamer.com was hosted via Typepad which went under and erased all blogs hosted there last month. Emailed Michael about three weeks ago to see if he knew and no response. Sad to see an influential blog disappear save for images on archive.org.

Someone should make a "Steam haul" video similar to the "book haul" videos you see on Youtube and Tiktok. It's all backlogs at the end of the day.
