My principal digging out the storm drain in the school parking lot is not technically the reason we’re kicking off the school fundraiser today… but here’s the link to donate: givebutter.com/walkerwolf

😂😂😂

She saved the day because this is where the parents drive to drop off and pick up their kids.
A wonderful elementary school principal digging out debris in a drain in a parking lot. She’s wearing rain boots standing at the edge of an enormous puddle, and her umbrella is set on the ground behind her. She’s smiling, of course. Good natured people are generally the ones who roll up their sleeves to save the day.

OPINION: "Today, as I approach 40, I watch children as young as kindergartners practice active-shooter drills, ducking under desks, freezing in dark corners, pretending this horror is part of their regular school day," Duvalier Malone writes.

Dr. Duvalier Malone writes about the normalization of school shootings and how immediate action must be taken to stop them.

In both of my HOAs I went onto the board for self-defense and stayed on to try and keep the insane control freaks contained. It was exhausting.

19 years on a Dallas HOA and 23 years in a Florida HOA serving on the board of both - I swear I will never live on another one ever again.

But rescue and relocation to the wash behind our house was successful. That why I buy tops for those 5 gallon buckets. 😊

It was quite the fiasco. It took me thirty minutes using my pool pole and net and a plastic rake to corral him into a bucket. He didn’t get aggressive but he was nearly 4ft long. Biggest obstacle was my partner yelling at me to be careful, I’m not being safe and just kill it. He is terrified of them

Finally, we have squeezed out 1” of rain for this 4 day rain event. The only good part about the slow rate of rain at the house is I have been able to get some agave outsets into the ground. 🌱

Christ. How did this turn into such a ridiculous Trump rally. These people make me want to vomit.

Well, at least we got an awesome rainbow yesterday afternoon.

I happily supply the cadavers to the sausage maker. I have room in my freezer for their tasty sausage.

The wildlife is such a challenge. I have been chasing a packrat for weeks. Then had a huge rattlesnake in the garage. I relocated the rattlesnake, upped the Packrat war with snap traps and sadly there was collateral damage. I snapped the rattlesnake (victory) but sadly for a rattlesnake. (Sad)

Hi Tucson, the Pima County Master Gardener plant sale is this Saturday. Great opportunity to pick up some Arizona propagated desert and desert adapted plants.

I’m leading the plant “transport team”. Stop and say hello to me when you are there.

Just when you let your guard down the motherfucking javelinas strike. It didn’t take 5 mins to clean up the garbage, but the bastards had to destroy an $80 cactus on the front porch. I want them all turned into sausage.

“Public health isn’t a luxury — it’s a core function of government,” said former Health and Human Services secretary Xavier Becerra. “This hollowing out of expertise could leave us dangerously exposed.”

when people talk about mediocre white men failing up, this is what they mean
Screenshot of a WJHL News Channel 11 Facebook post dated October 8 at 8:41 p.m. The post reads: “Florida state Rep. Kevin Steele (R) filed a bill Tuesday that threatens state funding to public universities and colleges if they do not rename specific roads after slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.” Below the text is a photo of a man in a navy suit, white shirt, and red tie speaking on stage at a podium. The WJHL.com headline below the image says: “Florida Republican unveils bill threatening state funding if colleges don’t rename roads after Charlie Kirk.”
