According to the UK treasury, payment processors are in the right and the gouvernment has no plans to step in. This puts it in direct contrast to what artists and the UK games industry have asked for.

I want to remind people that when there is a call to action to "contact your reps", it needs to be more than once

Going forward, contacting your reps needs to become part of your routine, at the very least during the work week.

Sustained pressure over time is what matters!

A small victory! Chat Control has been tabled for now, but it can [and likely will] be brought up for vote again in December

In the meantime, EU citizens will need to continue pressuring their respective govts to oppose chat control

However, do so knowing that pressure WORKS.

this is a really good sign, but it's not over until it's over. Germany has flipped before, and we cannot risk it flipping again. Germans, continue to voice your opposition to your MEPs/MPs. likewise, everyone else in the EU should be similarly vocal!
