It really sucks Newsom vetoed the HRT and PreP access bills. The stockpile veto is going to hurt.

That said, given everything he has been saying this year, signing 8 out of 10 bills is a win for grassroots activists and the legislators filing the bills.

even when I was sitting on board, I was so sure that something would go wrong, that the quicksand of my country would drag the whole plane into the earth. it was primal, the urgency I felt to break out of the orbit of home. claustrophobia but for the whole idea of a nation.
