💙📚🪐💙🎧 It's refreshing to read middle grade books as an adult sometimes. Adventure, a bit of danger. You can usually count on these books to turn out alright in the end. Not picture perfect, still good. This is book 2 and concludes the storyline well.

I hate making non-cat posts. I hate "discourse". But the number of comments I've seen degrading and dehumanizing sex workers because of that Melania trailer is appalling. That ghoulish woman will never see your "whore" jokes but they absolutely contribute to the stigma that gets sex workers killed.

💙📚🪐 Book 2 of the trilogy! Not as good as the first. I still loved it. The story continues for our 5 MCs, as a few at least try to stop the end of the world as they know it. The end felt as if it could have been wrapped up, then twisted to keep going.

It's just a First American Edition.

💙📚🎧 I enjoyed growing the relationship between Aleshia & Mukesh. It's interesting to me how different people can read the same book and have a different take away.
Many of the books on the list are familiar titles, though. I may try to read a few of them. Rebecca, sounds most interesting.

💙📚💡📚🎧 Solid book on maps. It covers several topics, history, political, gender divides, technology, etc. The audio book included a preferace, some foot notes for things that have been updated and a new chapter from the original.

Note: Much of map detail discussed is UK related.

💙📚 A bit outside my normal reads. I enjoyed this one, not knowing for sure if I could trust our MC's perception of reality. I didn't forsee the ending, neither was it a surprise. A good balance.
