🥗 The distinction between "food insecure" and "food insecure with hunger" was especially bureaucratic.
And I agree with him about saying "hunger" instead of "food insecure". "Food insecure" was a bureaucratic term foisted on us by Republicans who didn't want to admit there's hunger in America. (There is.)

Gov. Beshear gets it. He's the rare Democrat who understands both the importance of economic fairness and affordability, and also the moral (and political!) imperative of protecting transgender kids instead of throwing them under the bus.

Learned more about the clinical trial today. It feels a tiiiiny bit like Ford Prefect hurling himself out the window because he didn't see any better options, but I think I'm going to do it. It worked out for Ford!
Weighing the possible benefits snd risks of a clinical trial. The potential side effects are… grim. And that’s if I’m even assigned to the treatment group. 🧐😖🤮
