And I agree with him about saying "hunger" instead of "food insecure". "Food insecure" was a bureaucratic term foisted on us by Republicans who didn't want to admit there's hunger in America. (There is.)

So, ok for now. Taking it one day at a time. At least I can still go to Spirit games (well, in 2026...)

The seizures are rare now, and very mild when they happen. But I remain on short-term disability for the foreseeable future. Trying to figure out what's left of my career, and also write and organize my thoughts on what I've learned about poverty, food insecurity, and benes like SNAP over the years.

Depends how you define "ok" -- I have incurable brain cancer, which gave me multiple seizures a day from March through July, when I finally got MRIs showing the tumors, followed very soon by brain surgery. I'm halfway through 6 weeks of treatment (chemo and radiation), which I've tolerated well.
