I grew up in the 70s and 80s.

If you weren't there, just a little clarification on that Spectator piece.

Literally, NOBODY admired Hitler. Apart from nazis.

Hope that helps.

Just said “what are you doing here?” to a woman wearing the same New Balances and coat as my partner, but crucially, who was not my partner on the Tube, so I did the responsible thing, which was apologise and immediately leave the train.

Shocking.

AI chatbots clearly pose a risk to post-partum mothers - and will encourage angry or absent fathers to express themselves through violence.
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

it's a Centrist fallacy to believe that you can "halt the rise of the Far Right" by appeasing them or acceding to their demands.

Take one step back, they take one step forward.

Real Madrid down to 9 men, and losing 2 - 0 at home to Celta Vigo.

The first goal, a backheel by Swedberg, was nonchalance itself

Next year I am going to improve my productivity by 27%.

My secret? Is it Chat-GPT, Gemini 3, side hustles and the grindset mentality?? No.

I'm going to wear my glasses on a string around my neck.

the Labour Right have moved so far past Osbourne's "strivers and skivers" that they are now telling the entire working class that they are not welcome in Britain.

Horrible stuff from any political group, let alone a *Labour* party.
This is so disgusting.

This is what makes the Perth and Brisbane results so disappointing for England fans. This time around I thought we had a chance, a genuine chance. But this will become the 15th Test match England have lost in Oz since they last tasted victory in 2011.
Australia are missing their captain and two-thirds of their seam attack; they've inexplicably dropped their spinner; and they're choosing openers basically at random.

And yet.

Amazing how, after all these years, something so familiar can still feel so surprising.

I am so fucking angry about the guides and the WI. A country where trans girls and women aren't allowed to join hobby groups is in the absolute toilet.
The article explicitly notes WI had had a trans-inclusive policy *since the 1970s*!
Seems there has been some co-ordination.
