Reminder:
At the heart of the Epstein stories are women who as minors were trafficked, raped and treated as sexual slaves by Epstein and his many powerful collaborators.
Don’t let political point scoring overshadow that.

This is Trump's #1 tell.

He spends zero time attacking the pedophiles—and instead attacks the Republican congressman who helped expose the pedophiles.

Epstein survivor: I found my own information un-redacted several times, including in a sentence that says, 'Stein is a victim of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.' So many of us have had our personal information exposed. People have had pictures exposed. They've put us in a lot of danger.

Epstein Files: “Some suggested the Clintons ‘caved’ to Congress’ demands. More likely they’ve set a precedent that requires people with far stronger linkage to Epstein—& their wives—to testify. If they don’t, the GOP-led investigation in Congress will face claims that it’s trying to hide the truth”
Today was one of those days where it was difficult to keep up with everything of significance that happened. Here’s a little help that should get you up to speed on at least some of it. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

If the Democrats are so skilled at stealing elections, how come Trump is in the White House?
Rep. Buddy Carter: "We have to have the SAVE Act. I'm from Georgia. Don't forget what we've been through in 2020, when President Trump won that election but it was stolen from him."

The chatbot still produces sexualized images —

even when told the subjects don’t consent.

even when told the photos will be used for public humiliation.

even when told the subjects are survivors of abuse.

Elon Musk’s flagship artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, continues to generate sexualized images of people even when users explicitly warn that the subjects do not consent, Reuters has found.

We have a follow up on Austin, the brave kid who swam 4K to help his family stranded at sea.

“"I was trying to get the happiest things in my head, and trying to make it through, [and not think of] the bad things that will distract me," he said.”

Once again, every word is heart in mouth stuff.
Mother says sending son to swim 4km for help 'one of the hardest decisions'
A WA mother says asking her teenage son to swim four kilometres through rough seas to get help after their family was swept out to sea, was "one of the hardest decisions" she has ever made.

Periodic reminder: When someone shares news with "BREAKING" and they aren't a journalist and don't link to a news story, it's probably not the best source for people to be resharing. It might be trying to get rage reposts, even! Better to find a news article that is accurately describing facts.

Sometimes you have to say it out loud to appreciate how dire t all is:

The president just openly declared his plans to steal the midterm elections — in an interview with the former number two person at the FBI.
Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

A detail I don't want to get lost in this: So far, Bri and her network have helped more than 500 families with grocery deliveries and more than 300 with diapers and wipes. In just two months.
In Minneapolis, for every story detailing the fallout of the federal crackdown, there are as many stories of people like Bri, a mom donating breastmilk for babies whose mothers are detained by ICE.

Bri's story:

When one mother was taken by ICE, another stepped in to donate breastmilk
Moms in Minneapolis are donating diapers, food and time to help families who have been ripped apart by ICE.
