Watching this now, and WHOOF am I glad I canceled Paramount+ when I did (I was mostly hanging onto it for Trek, and did NOT like the initial trajectory of SNW s3 for many of the reasons outlined here).

I found a place nearby that lets people do natural burials (no chemicals, no concrete-lined gravesites). It doubles as a nature preserve, of sorts. It sounds so lovely and restful.

Yeah it's hard to sell "the cities are in violent upheaval!" when there's someone in an inflatable unicorn costume doing the latest TikTok dance or whatever while the feds are in full tactical gear. The absurd inequality becomes REAL obvious.

AND you'd have to separate out RPF fandoms (which I'd wager have a higher OFC/readerfic trend generally) from fictional fandoms.

Well you'd have to have several groups (pre-rise fandoms vs current fandoms, and for current fandoms you'd have to pick/separate(?) ones with canonical FCs that are white vs ones that are FCoCs)... Maybe? I'm not a data analyst but that's how I'd do it.

You know, I don't have hard proof but I mentally directly tie in the rise of readerfic and OFCfic with the rise in female leads / love interests that are WoC... I could be wrong but. It would track.
