One thing it’s so hard to explain is that when depression is bad, doing annoying or dull tasks becomes hard not just because it’s hard to make yourself do anything, but because it doesn’t provide the more enjoyable disassociation and enjoyment needed to distract from the pain.

Everyone but Batman decides to be deranged for almost no reason. Everything is framed as either Superman must murder all criminals to stop crime or actually the villains are good and it was better they just did whatever they wanted. Terrible 0/10.

My sentimental favorite: BABY BOOM. Incredibly of its time but in part a nice grown-up romcom.

I also like that she mentioned FATHER OF THE BRIDE. Some of it is very cringey, but, like I suspect a lot of people did, I made sparkly wedding sneakers for my sister because of that movie.
