Idk if “due process” is the right term to use here. Americans hadn’t heard the term until two weeks ago when the Garcia case started grabbing national headlines. “Innocent until proven guilty” is probably the better play.

I happen to know that some powerful media orgs were unhappy that AP filed suit; they thought the conflict with the White House would blow over on its own and that AP risked making bad law. The AP's leadership deserves a lot of credit for having proceeded as it did. apnews.com/article/trum...

Friend of mine who posts their concerns about Trump, Musk etc received this notification from FB. Definitely not a spammer. Posts ~1-2 times a day with links to news stories about exec orders, DOGE etc. Is this META limiting political dialogue or am I being paranoid? @jessemermell.bsky.social
