This is the *federal* government paying for the *City* to take action on what is constitutionally Saskatchewan *provincial* govt responsibility - because the Saskatchewan govt will not act to provide adequate social housing.

I do wish more candidates and elected Dems would do this.
This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

A reminder that CBS is owned by Paramount.

Paramount’s CEO is David Ellison.

David’s father Larry Ellison is the third-richest person on Earth and a major Trump donor.

It finally happened. A guy pulled his work van into the separated cycle lane, causing me to crash hard (elbow, wrist, palm, knee, and shin are bruised and bloody). I was so mad and yelled at him. He was very apologetic, drove me and my bike home, and promised he wouldn't do it again. Send chocolate.

My jacket has been leaking feathers because of the crash, so I finally brought it into Patagonia for repair. They said it would take 14 weeks and offered me a new jacket. I turned it down because the jacket was otherwise still perfectly good so I fixed the hole with a patch.

I shall never denounce or deny any assignation with the mothers of those who arrive on my threads to troll, provoke or rage.

These women are as generous and spirited as they are relentless. They are a balm in these hard, ugly times.
Or @audacityofdespair.bsky.social denouncing swearing and recounting visits with one's Mom. Or taking a vow of silence. Same thing, really.

There was a vogue for climate debates along these same lines a decade or so back. And for evolution/creationism before that. With very few exceptions, these formats are stacked against the mainstream position. I recommend not doing them (and yes, I speak from experience).
Because it’s not just Bari Weiss’ CBS asking this question—in the last few months, I’ve been approached by half a dozen different shows looking to ‘debate’ the same topic.

I even got a request from NPR-distributed “Open to Debate” to see if I’d weigh in on “Has Feminism Hurt Women?”

It was such a joy to celebrate Hanukkah with Mandy, Kathryn and their son, Gideon. As Jewish New Yorkers across our city prepare to light candles and mark the seventh night today, I wish you and your families a Hanukkah full of light and love.

It’s been a year since the Liberals used Section 107 to squash the CUPW strike, and postal workers are still waiting for a fair deal. I stopped by the commemoration rally in Vancouver today, one of many nationwide.

When workers are under attack, there’s only one thing to do - stand up, strike back!
