Our economic system doesn’t work if 37% of people on food assistance are working full time. These companies are exploiting and stealing from their workers.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

if you needed some Weird Cinema to watch, i'd recommend THE SHOUT (1978), over on Criterion. Great little movie with a real weirdness running through, based on a great weird short story written by Robert Graves. really fun, extremely strange.

I'm working crew on a play which just opened and we didn't have one of our cast members ON OPENING NIGHT because of food poisoning. (She thinks it was probably from packaged ice cream 😵💫)
