Mostly here for the politics and football. Pretty woke, hate injustice and oppression. Still think Brexit was a stupid idea. #FBPE. #LFC and Eastleigh Spitfires. Season ticket holder at both.

I wonder why one of Britain's wealthiest men would be against tax rises?
A reminder that this is the same Rishi Sunak who when he was Prime Minister raised taxes to their highest level in more than 70 years

1. Sarah Pochin is a racist cunt.

2. I am sorry if my choice of words has upset anyone.

3. Chris Philp is also a racist cunt.

4. Again, I am sorry if my choice of words upsets anyone.

5. I have a legitimate concern that we tolerate the intolerant.

Imagine how much more money companies could make if they stopped ruthlessly framing their adverts to shift as much product as possible to as many people as possible and just pandered to weirdo racists instead!

Donald Trump:

“New York City forgot about September 11th or else they wouldn’t be electing an Islamic communist as their next mayor.”

If King Donald the Mad remembered 911 he wouldn't have accepted a gold plane from the Qatai royal family.

"Caerffili has emphasised that Cymru’s politics is now a battle between Plaid Cymru and Reform

– and that in Caerffili Plaid have won the battle but still have work to do to win the war."
Signposts from Caerffili
With a new election system for the Senedd in May 2026, what does the Caerffili by-election tell us about the state of the parties in Cymru?

Every country has a powerful right wing that argue “if you tax the wealthy, they’ll leave”

We need to start calling their bluff.

We need to make it so the ultra wealthy either contribute enough to be a positive part of society, or be globally shunned and unable to extract further funds from us.

Reform's voters are highly motivated, and for the most part strongly dislike Labour. You win at constituency level by bringing together the 'activated liberals' who dislike the idea of a Reform MP/government more than anything. You don't do that by moving closer to Reform.

It’s more than just bad priorities. It’s about lack of basic decency.

Good morning lovely people.

I thought I would start this day, the 26th of October, the day of my son's 32nd birthday with a video.
A video of truth to the people, a video that teaches us that we have to stand together to beat the evils that are trying to destroy us. 🙏

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

This man is a deeply mediocre grifting spiv but sees himself as a mighty political figure. Only in a country where the media has given in to sensationalism rather than scrutiny and politicians have become shameful cowards could naff little Nigel’s ego be this absurdly, delusionally huge.
Parties who do this are signposting that their top priority is attracting Reform voters.
Cognitive dissonance on full display.
Labour once avoided wrapping itself in flags, standing for solidarity beyond nationalism. Now every party seems to stage backdrops like something out of the 1930s — all symbols, no soul. When did politics become a competition in flag-waving rather than ideas?

Woeful Tory extremist, Susan Hall, blames Sadiq Khan for the Silvertown Tunnel tolls, when the tunnel was initiated by Boris Johnson, along with the plan for tolls - and the current toll charge is in line with what the Tory Mayor envisaged.

Is there anything on which she's not utterly ignorant?

A neat summary of why Reform will only ever fuck it up.

Idiotic spending without any care about priorities or any clue as to whether they can afford it. Flags before social care or education or anything people actually need.

Hi @grahamformaine.bsky.social

You said you stand by your earlier question. Cool.

Ignorant stereotypes aside, this Black man is a damn good tipper.

Now my question for you: how many Black people did you even serve in Maine, with a 1.68% Black population, to make that kind of judgment?
Hopefully a future president will redecorate it with pictures of cartoon characters, and create an indoor play area where kids from underprivileged schools get to spend a day. Trump would hate that.
The least surprising news of the day.
