As I noted in ONE NATION UNDER GOD, a lot of the 1950s-era campaigns to post the TC on school walls fell apart when they moved from theory to practice and had to pick a specific text. Proponents were often stunned to learn that Protestants, Catholics and Jews had different versions.

Thunderbolts made $162M worldwide. It made a little more internationally than domestically. It will clear its production budget next week. It’s doing fine.
It is pretty interesting to see the same outlets that framed Sinners making $48 million on a $90 million budget opening weekend as cause for concern, also frame Thunderbolts making $76 million on an $180 million budget opening weekend as a little soft, but nothing to worry about.
Thunderbolts made $76 million opening weekend, on the low end of the MCU, but on the high end of early estimates. So, like the team: just good enough.

Also, we had TV movies about autism when I was a kid. True, I’m not as old as RFK, who I think died like 20 years ago and was then reanimated.
RFK JR: ADD, ADHD, Tourette syndrome, Narcolepsy, Autism.. All of these are injuries that I never heard of when I was a kid.

Narcolepsy?!? How did narcolepsy (which has been called that for about 150 years) get thrown into this?

I know it’s a controversial view, but I’m willing to say it — Sam Alito is a mediocre turnip and the assertion we should take him as a serious intellectual has always been suspect.

“Who can bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” (Rom 8:33-34)

It turns out the preppers are the only people who were really ready for Trump Part 2…
to be clear, if he fires powell, that is basically it for the USD as a reserve currency.
REPORTER: Powell says he won't leave even if you ask him to

TRUMP: Oh, he'll leave. If I ask him to he'll be out of there ... I'm not happy with him. If I want him out, he'll be out of there real fast. Believe me.

REPORTER: Are you trying to remove him?

TRUMP: Yeah, next question.

So many hundreds of thousands of words of ink, so many countless hours wasted, explaining how this man was secretly savvy, and it turns out he’s just dumb as a rock, clueless about basic economics, and driven by a malicious paranoia that conniving foreigners are ripping us off
Trump: "I spoke to a lot of leaders -- European, Asian, from all over the world. They are dying to make a deal, but I said 'we're not gonna have deficits with your country' ... to me a deficit is a loss. We're gonna have surpluses or at worst we're gonna be breaking even."

Not once during the Biden Admin did I worry on Sunday what he might say or do on Monday.

Not that he was perfect, it’s just that he was NORMAL.

Living under Trump 2.0 is a never ending dystopia.
