Struzan's stuff is like magic. He could put just layers of life into his work. I had a phase where I obsessed over Struzan. I think about his work often.

RIP Drew Struzan whose uncanny ability to filter movie magic into instantly iconic one-sheets made him as much a part of the filmmaking process as any actor, writer, technician, producer, or director. What a legend.

His art was incredible. We reference him on an almost daily basis in the comic business. He will be missed.

Hard to overstate this man’s impact on my view of art. It’s fair to say he really shaped my internal creative landscape like a river shapes a canyon. I’m grateful that I was lucky enough to live at the same time as Drew Struzan.

While his work on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and The Thing are going to be his most indelible works, I always loved when Drew Struzan provided that same style to very silly comedies. He knew every film was worthy of artistic representation. RIP

Drew Struzan was a legend. “Iconic” seems inadequate for how linked his art is with the popular memory of so many movies.
