I love Dimension 20 endlessly and I promise this isn’t criticism at all, but man it feels like Brennan has been FULLY UNLEASHED as the GM of critical roll. Way more hours to play with, so many characters, immediately more dramatic and dense than anything he’s done before. Fucking rocks. He’s insane.

As always I’d rather a story end on their own terms than be dragged out past the point of quality, but this one does hurt. Every book rocks IMO. Excited to see the endgame.

rewatching Once. Nothing about it should work. Filmed on a potato with no lighting, looks like shit. Non-actors doing improvised dialogue filmed illegally in public spaces or at friends' houses. Basically no plot. And yet Once is nearly perfect, one of the best movies ever made

Jumped back into Expedition 33 so I can finish it before the year ends. God damn, what a game. All the additive Souls influence combined with the turn based elemental combat makes it just a delight to play. You can fight as risky as you want. Story is gripping. Every frame is beautiful 🥰

People are hating on the Peacemaker season 2 finale & I agree it’s got its issues (as does the whole season) but frankly, it’s nice to see a piece of superhero & mainstream media that has flaws rooted in an artists specific personality & voice instead of being boring corporate slop like Tron: Ares.

I see people sad about the ending of Ultimate X-Men, and I am too. I'll miss these characters. But I am also glad about it. This isn't something that was done to us. The plan from the beginning was to tell a complete story in two years. We got to end on our own terms, which is rare nowadays.
