Just heard Drew Struzan passed away 😞 His incredible work has given me and countless others so much awe, joy and inspiration!

I had posters of his work as a teen, I began using color pencils because I thought he used them too. Always inspired by him. Just utterly heart broken.

RIP Drew Struzan.

The medsky feeds filters for both hashtags and also uses curation lists that are augmented by specialty-specific keywords, and I think that it's a pretty effective way for anyone to create their own STEM specialty feed.

That's part of what I'm working on with the @medsky.social feeds.

If you have a curation list of people with occupational labels, you can create feed filters that identify specialty-specific key words that can more effectively filter content so hashtags and emoticons are unecessary.

Tbh I’m not a fan of emoticon tagging, that doesn’t really take full advantage of what Bluesky feeds can do and I’m eager to give people tools to help us move past them.

"Rafa" is a Merced county farm worker. He does 2 shifts in 2 different jobs as rent is so expensive. He harvests tomatoes in the am. Then he sorts sweet potatoes under a hot sun - working 13 hours total. He worries about driving home because of lack of sleep. #WeFeedYou
