It's hard for old heads to understand but there's at least 2 generations that never knew pro wrestling as anything other than the watered down slop that WWE presented and when exposed to a wilder vision like AEW, some of them are saying "huh, maybe pro wrestling is for me after all"

Just apply this argument to any other show and you see how terrible it is. Breaking Bad/Sopranos/Game of Thrones should try to appeal to the casual viewer instead of its rabid fanbase.

This has been a tough year for "WWE is good at business" folks. Lost NBC as a partner. No deal for NXT ppvs. No U.S. deal for AAA. No one wanted their TNA offer. No one wants their library. And challenging AEW head-to-head exposed their product as dreadfully inferior.

Something that has been rattling in my brain since #AEWBloodandguts is the abundance of memorable talent in #AEW when compared to #WWE.
Darby, Cassidy, MJF, Elite, Osprey, Swerve Mox....(list goes on) Will be held in high regard like wrestlers in the Attitude era and prime WCW.
