And the folk creating this toxicity by using rage bait thumbnails/titles, rage bait articles, posts, interview snips and the like… they profit while the fans get more and more defensive, thus feeding their need for engagement.

It’s all a mess and it’s made worse by monetisation.

People make the mistake that ‘comparing products and why I prefer xyz’ is anything more than their opinion and it’s ok to prefer one, it’s ok to disagree, it ain’t that important.

Folk wrap their personality up in fandom.

The more attacked they are, the more toxic they get in defence.

I think tribal fans are just tribal as someone who has never cared, I’ve seen shit from both fandoms that are the same.

Content creators are often responsible for a lot of shit, AEW is the perfect example of that.

I have both, prefer PS in general but think the only AAA console maker going under is a terrible thing for the industry!

Xbox have really buggered themselves up with mismanagement.

So due to a family need, I am donating my iPhone 13 to a family member who needs a big screened phone due to age!

I agree with things like that, but creative endeavours have no soul or feeling with AI, I use it in work to give me a clearer overview of large chunks of info that are like reading instructions to the worlds most boring board game 🤣

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.
