This may be why corruption is up 100x recently. These are "thank God his term is almost over" numbers but it hasn't even been a year yet. Unsustainable.

ESPN is trying so hard to be nice to WWE, but they can't lie like a Fightful & say bad shows are good. This review says SmackDown "made sense" which is technically true. It closes with the reporter saying WWE's WarGames gimmick has no aura. Ooof.

Full Gear buys were way way up, yet only Cultaholic covered that news. Think that'd be true if it flopped? Fightful's postshow commentary was, "Why is no one talking about Full Gear?" Wrestling media is now actively working to suppress good news about AEW.
Meltzer says Full Gear was AEWs biggest buyrate since All In & he can't figure out why. "The numbers are way up from the last two." He still doesn't understand that live tv ratings are not an indicator of popularity in 2025.

The only that that has really changed about college football in the past 30 years is we've moved from arguing over who's #1 to who's #12. There was probably a happy medium in there, say 6 or 8, but here we are.
Sark has equated losing to Florida to ND losing to NIU last year, the number of NFL players in the SEC, and thinks nobody has a win like that by two scores over No. 3 Texas A&M.

If Crockett promoted the first WarGames with "can they co-exist?" there would be no WarGames today. Just a complete misunderstanding of how that match is supposed to work.
Seriously every time I see WWE ruin some old WCW/JCP idea it hurts my soul. They have diminished all of the old great ppvs and Wargames.. dont even get me started.

This version of the Skins Game was absolutely saved by Shane Lowry as a last-minute replacement. He's got the same tv-ready personality as the guys from the 80s/90s. He just says stuff.
