I put that down to simple name recognition. It's like Nintendo being synonymous with video games, same thing with WWE. AEWs best counter to that remains doing residencies and unique venues.

WWE lost the war with AEW the moment they sold to TKO. The hyper commercialization of everything without any rhyme or reason has turned fans off. Fully embracing MAGA has further alienated their audience. It's hard to see how they compete with AEW outside of nostalgia acts.
