On LinkedIn someone said that asking ppl to talk about COVID in the present tense is pedantic. I disagree. It was Charles Sepulveda, who reminded me that when ppl talk about Indigenous people it is often use past tense, and he said that was so harmful for indigenous people. Language is essential

Watching Sinners again for the first time since this summer. I've seen it 9x total. My favorite viewing experience was in the cinema next to several elderly Black women. Their commentary fed my soul in ways I don't yet know how to articulate, especially during the scene when Smoke reunites w/Annie.
