The problem is, the only real answer to this is "A leader willing to follow blatantly illegal orders and commit mass exgtrajudicial murder." Whether he is also a coward remains, I suppose, to be seen.
Admiral Bradley can take the hit for an administration that doesn't give two shits about him or the military in general, or he can drop his retirement papers and out every single political appointee involved. We'll soon see what kind of officer and leader he is.
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

Every member of the armed forces needs to pay close attention to this hegseth debacle.
Bradley will fry for this but maybe it is a good example to the troops what happens to those that follow illegal orders. DO NOT FOLLOW ILLEGAL ORDERS.
An admiral would know this was blatantly illegal.

Admiral Bradley: "You are absolutely sure you'll have my back on this, Mr. Secretary? If this gets out it could end my career!"

Dems release a video reminding troops of their responsibility to disobey illegal orders.

They’re called seditionists.

WaPo breaks the news that Hegseth said to kill survivors of a boat strike.

WH: “It wasn’t him! It was Admiral Bradley!”

This is why you disobey illegal orders

The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.

GOP Rep. Don Bacon: "I don't think Secretary Hegseth would be foolish enough to make this decision to say, 'Kill everybody. Kill the survivors,' because that's a clear violation of the law of war."

One of the goals of rightwing politics is shrinking the size of the middle class because people without resources are more easily controlled. Guess what happens when you push people off their insurance?
Trump wants to shift the cost of ACA subsidized health care entirely onto Americans who depend on it. The uninsured Americans will spur a public health problem with more expensive premiums for the insured as hospitals look to recoup the loss.
