A big problem with Democrats saying the military can't save us because it must remain apolitical at all times is that we are, once again, unilaterally disarming in a political fight. Republicans are actively trying to reshape it into the armed force of their political movement, like the Nazi SS.

At one point, a judge scheduled a second master for a man to prove he would be in danger in Honduras. Confused, he said "No, Peru. I'm from Peru."
