Updating this almost a year on. 3 more releases, a few games moved to the ports category, I'm treating myself to saying "yes I did work on descenders actually" because it's majorly grown in my time at NMR and also adding a cheeky nod to the fact I have bugs in the database of VI from 2015 lol
I really think it's telling that Labour acts like it's brave and bold when it asks billionaires for tax on the private jets, but doesn't even consider the inherent inequality that allows them to own private jets in the first place

I need to ask for help. For the last few days I've been unable to get around due to a ton of pain in my foot. Even getting to the bathroom is hard. Unfortunately I'm out of some basic food stuff and getting it delivered to my door costs more money than I have because fees and minimum delivery cost.
It'd be really pog if independent/fandom crafters of physical goods could say where they were based, especially if they have a website. In a world with tariffs, import fees and expensive shipping, it's really nice knowing if I'm going to have to add ~20% to the listed price to get it in my hands.

After last night it was great to have another look at how Resonite is looking. I'm still not sure I can daily drive it, but it was great to have a play on. The potential is really there to be awesome, but the usability needs huge improvements. I'm gonna do a little thread to collect some thoughts 🧵

Not to "Back in my day" too hard but 2006 was the peak of Myspace Music. You didn't need a good recording setup, you just needed ideas. You could've recorded an EP on a webcam mic & been noticed.

It's funny that my first 2 releases (GTA V and RDR 2) are the 2nd and 4th best selling games EVER.
There are more people who've played those games than there are people who've played a single Final Fantasy game.
Yet I associate those games with Greed, Bad Working Practices and Shit Pay.

A year on, Labour is turning on refugees, new and settled. This is on top of their migration law changes.

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

Heads up for folx playing Arc Raiders: Embark has openly stated (in an interview with GamesRadar+), that the game uses the same AI voice tech as The Finals, and the CEO has talked about using AI to generate 3D models from YouTube rips.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
