damn, straight up generalizing entire demographics + insulting non-binary people while insinuating it's our fault we don't have broader recognition in a patriarchal sexual hierarchy that seeks to dismiss, belittle, + erase all mention of us

this doesn't read as feminist, it reads as masturbation
i'm non-binary but upon learning that i was trans the two people i was talking to in an online chat immediately started calling me "zippertits"

Like Dworkin compared pornography to chattel slavery. She discouraged feminists from working with leftist groups while writing apologia for white supremacist right-wing women. She helped pave the way for alliances between radfems & the Right. We need to fight against her influence not extend it.
just as people can be unimaginably kind, they can also be unimaginably cruel

he hasn't stopped calling~ have you? 🫵

how to call: stop-paypros.neocities.org

info and resources on pay discrimination: cartoonist.coop/censorship-p...
drawing of a man laying on bed with an old school phone in hand. he has a speech bubble that says "I'm so confused~ is what i'm buying illegal?" the text on the page says "keep calling and writing until payment processor censorship is reversed. one call a day makes a difference! mastercard and visa's statements aren't good enough. let's keep up the pressure together!"
Bastrospect sounds like it fucks as a term tbh

I think this is why I've always liked the way the Illinois Nazis are portrayed in The Blues Brothers. It shows them for what they are: spiteful little weirdos who are ineffective and deserve no respect.
It’s funny how the old media depiction of Nazis was always that they’re evil but dignified gentleman and now they’re openly just like “Hello. I’m the Anime Pedophile”

Just a reminder that Wikipedia is the only remaining reliable source of information that right wing billionaires can't control. (Although they'll never stop trying.)

Please donate to them whenever you can. Even a little bit helps.

i might not agree completely with the entire statement but this one might be worth trying, just for funsies

Disabled people are not the enemy

Immigrants are not the enemy

LGBTQ+ people are not the enemy

Minorities & people of colour are not the enemy

These division tactics only work because there’s one group who needs to feel superior to the rest of us

They will “other” anyone to advance their agenda

After Reconstruction, the media refused to believe that white supremacists were massacring entire towns of Black people attempting to claim local sovereignty over their own lives. It is not true that violence, even when it's "plain as day," necessarily moves public opinion.
The white- run news transformed this event from a coup that overthrew an elected Republican government into a horror story of armed Black men, turning the massacre into a legitimate act of white self- defense. The Shreveport Times described the event as “the most deplorable and bloody affray ever perpetuated.” Years after the event, white Democrats would periodically fearmonger about a Black militia that would return to overthrow the government, blaming power- hungry Republicans.

Link's relentless boosting and fostering of mutual aid has literally kept people alive during crises. Banning him for calling out bigotry — and because of brittle egos — is vile.
Link has always been a positive plus for Bluesky.

Let's be crystal clear the reason for his ban is goalpost moving because the CEO didn't like being called out for racism and bigotry.

That's it. That's literally it.
is it called Silent Hill F because people die and then you press F to pay respects
