This thread is so real. I’m only in my 4th year of teaching and have seen a decline within that short time. You’d think a sexuality class might at least interest students out of pure titillation, but not even. This semester engagement was at an all time low and only ~10% attended class.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
