Is this a small, but significant watershed? Probably not, but if it is, it's surely a win, win. Sets a route back into the EU and lays the blame for current issues, squarely at Farridge's door...
2 episodes in to #RiotWomen and it is superb. The scene with Nancy asking Holly to take her to her mum and dad's is one of the most moving bits of telly I've seen in a long time... absolute masterclass.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

How are I? HowamI? Bloomin' heck the new #Partridge is good! #HowAreYou
Finally got round to breaking out the TimKey / EmilyJuniper playing cards I bought during lockdown. Not ideal if trying to maintain a poker face - e.g. King of Spades, and the black hearts don't help 4 cocktails in... Absolutely gorgeous though.
Mid game Shithead, with 3 sets of 'table ' cards, a discard puller and a pickup pile. One person mid play.
He can't beat Faridge on immigration. Take on Reform on literally any/ every other issue as they offer no actual solutions. Give the electorate a positive, hopeful, progressive alternative. Starmer won't though, and that's why we'll end up with a fascist government in 4 years. ...

In a slightly abstract twist, where were we yesterday?!
Single line pen sketch of a mystery building...
Spent a decent amount of time waiting for trains there... The painted columns were the giveaway!
Is the one on the left Preston?
Ironically he could have got a quality through coloured render from Sto, but they don't sell here any more because of Brexit...
I'm guessing he hasn't used any high end paints (although I shouldn't jump to conclusions!), which means the red will be a shade of pink pretty quickly. Lovely.
Obviously no Lord of the Rings fans in the current government. Or maybe there is, but they think Sauron was just misunderstood...
Freddie Flintoff's #FieldOfDreams. Pump it into my veins. Inspirational.
I think, to the uninitiated, the slates often get mistaken for a benign material. Moss is a good indicator you're dealing with asbestos, but if you don't know what you've got, get a specialist to test...
Please don't do this...
Of course, I've seen people stacking clean asbestos roof tiles neatly on pallets to sell them. What's new to me is sanding asbestos fiber cement tiles and reusing them. That's very stupid. Don't do it.

Boom! 2 months off it's 21st birthday... amazingly still smells pretty minty!
Best before date on the underside of a pot of dried mint. Date reads NOV2004.

I've been meaning to write about me, my family and murder for decades and have finally plucked up the courage... open.substack.com/pub/ferguscr...
