Of all the hundreds of items in my Hawkworld.org Aviary, a rock takes a prominent place in my collection.
In June of 2019, my 8-year-old son was outside playing but came rushing back into the house and upstairs to my room.

The Hague Convention of 1898 banned aerial warfare, and the US lobbied unsuccessfully to renew the ban in 1907. The official position of the United States government in the early twentieth century was that any aerial bombardment should be considered a war crime.
