I've begun a starter pack of Aotearoa writers to help others find the crowd on bsky. I know I've missed plenty, so comment below if you want to be added (or removed).

I regret to inform everyone that my pedantic brain couldn’t let me live until I knew whether or not dodger blue and blue jays blue are the same blue. They are ONE PANTONE NUMBER APART.
Condolences, that's so hard. Stepping back and taking some space is pretty wise, I think; everything will still be here whenever you feel like dipping in. 🫂
I really want to go out and play baseball now, but I suspect I can no longer throw or catch a ball.

I used to be an okay hitter, but I suspect that's also off the cards.
Unfortunately it ended wrong, so we forget about it and try again in 17 hours.
I guess at some point the players will have work today. Maybe they've decided to play straight through.
At what point do they say "these players have work tomorrow" and let them go to bed?

Something about Delaware river mud surely
What happens if Game 3 is still being played when Game 4 is scheduled to start?
It is the game that never ends. Yes it goes on and on my friends!

As a Libro.fm acolyte, it is my duty to inform you that audio that's purchased from your favorite indie bookseller sounds better and is also more emotionally fulfilling than the same audio purchased from a megacorp that's assisting the authoritarian federal regime.
I gave him a call on his birthday and he had just got home from curling. My mom told me from the background that he got a $20k grant for his curling club to refurb their rocks last year, extending their use by about 25 years. Rock maintenance, who knew?
It's also been a bit of a tough week because it was my Dad's 70th birthday and I couldn't be there. Didn't expect to feel it so hard after the fact, but there it is. I did make him a calendar of all the goofiest photos of him I have, and it's a real tour of dad fashion from the 80s to the present.
I have been really enjoying Dimension 20. Blasted through the first season while feeling unwell this week. It really makes me want to find a DnD group again! Collaborative improvised storytelling is just the best.

FURTHER INFO: We’re also asking everyone to conserve water as power outages have affected pump stations across the city. While there is no immediate impact, and generators are being deployed, we’re taking a precautionary approach while the weather event continues.

I support the thousands of public servants striking today. You do good work, essential work, and you deserve fair pay, safe working conditions, adequate time for rest and recovery, and to not be snarked at by those who were elected to represent us all.

Please stay safe in these winds.
