I won't bother watching it as I personally find little of interest in his videos, so I cannot discuss it from an informed position.

I'm skeptical of the need for such a public statement, but I'm not interested enough to look deeper.

Reminds me of The City of Kings, but with a more coherent narrative throughline. The rogue-like nature of individual sessions, the layout of enemies on a grid, cooperative tactical combat that feels puzzle-like, etc.

I guess I'll need to break it out again.

It looks like this was an incorrect assumption due to tech problems that users misconstrued.

CR have already said they would only use AI for back-end discoverability and personalized recommendations.

More recently they said there'd been no changes in how they do subtitles or vendors used.

You can't go wrong with some Scalzi. I'd recommend the one by Banks, but I'm not sure he's a cure for dreariness.

I also enjoyed King's Fairy Tale more than expected.

I'm a big fan of David Mitchell but I haven't read Unruly yet. Sounds fun though.

Maybe they thought distance from the direct concern of US audiences would allow them to sane wash the obscene payoffs they've accepted to lend normalcy to monsters.

Nothing they were allowed to say on stage will have any effect on human rights under an oppressive regime.

But they made bank so ok?

But would they have accepted a similar offer to put on a show at Mar a Lago, paid for by T-Rump? Or would those optics have been too close to home?

As someone with a hoarding habit and thereby an abysmal completion percentage, I appreciate Gamepass as an infrequent user.

I'll sign up twice a year for a month to try a dozen games I've built up a desire to play, find *one* that I actually want to finish, and do so.

I always start with a list.

Cornell is cancelling a distinguished professor's classes on Gaza and suspending him because of the complaints of a student who previously served in Israel's military surveillance agency and was literally recording the comments of other students in class and deliberately derailing discussion.
Early last semester, Droubi said, students began approaching Cheyfitz with complaints that a graduate student in the “Gaza, Indigeneity, Resistance” class appeared to be recording them, possibly to “gather their names and comments” and intimidate them. “We believe that a student came to the course for the sole reason of surveilling and potentially harming students in the class,” Droubi said. “That ended up proving itself to be true because multiple students came forward and shared their concerns with Professor Cheyfitz.” Cheyfitz said one Palestinian student quit the class after telling him she felt upset and frightened. During the conversation, he asked the graduate student to drop the course, and by the next class, he did, Cheyfitz said. The graduate student, Oren Renard, a PhD candidate in computer science whose identity was confirmed by other students in the class, previously served in Israel’s elite military surveillance agency, Unit 8200, according to his LinkedIn profile.
