Two Lego Sets, 10305 Lion Knight's Castle, and 40567 Forestmen Hideout... They're very nice... but can I make classical Castle sets with them? Follow me and I'll share three + one I already shared last year.
Magic Kaito 1412 was my introduction to Case Closed, and if Case closed weren't a behemoth, it might have gotten more traction...

I'm keen to see this again. And Dubbed? Yes and Thank you.

Stranger Things Season 5 episodes 1-3

Oh hey, I really like Stranger Things again. What a great return to form after those last 2 outings. I liked pieces of seasons 3-4, but here... 5 is soo much tighter, and more focused. It feels good watching it.

The heart of coal is painted gold.
It shines so bright in artificial light
The cold coal of a painted heart is never fit for burning.
It never warms anyone to see it
It never makes its way to ash
Never worth its weight in gold,
nor even a useful lump of coal.
To the trash heap soon,
badump.

I heard some of the darkest reporting on NPR on my way home delivered as affably as it normally is and I sometimes wonder how they stay sane while they talk.

I emailed my Senator and asked them to push back on the rhetoric.

'Remigration,' once a fringe idea, becomes a mantra for the Trump administration
The recent shooting of two National Guardsmen in D.C. has revived calls from the Trump administration for "reverse migration," or "remigration." But those ideas trace back to European extremists.

Eden's BoWy... I'd see it at a used dvd store, but the dvd covers looked ugly, so I kept ignoring it. Then I did a Rightstuf Blind Buy and they sent me Eden's BoWy, and I was like OH NO, not this ONE!

So then I watched it. I misjudged it HARD. I've moved on from 90's Fantasy anime, but not EB.

Of all the things Fortnite has done... this is by all accounts... MY FAVE. I fell in love with Kill Bill in college back in 2005 and I just really like the 'all ages?' Kill Bill cartoon. It's just like stepping right back into an off kilter scene from the film. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrUI...

Tangled: as a former homeschooler, I rather like this movie 'a' LOT.

Never watched the tv show though... but I'm about to rectify that... I found out it has a Bluray last night... So I got one... and while I'm waiting I watched Tangled again instead of more anime or Fortnite or Halo.

The new Rozen Maiden Manga Omnibus don't cut cleanly with the old Tokyopop volumes.

If you have the old volumes up to volume 6 (Phase 29), and start buying the new volumes from volume 3 (which is numbered differently (New-episode 32/Old-phase 30), you will have the optimal mix and match of books.

I’m not joking when I say you’ll appreciate the show in general way more if you know a bit about KINGS ROW.
Since everyone is gearing up for the finale of STRANGER THINGS, it’s a good time to check out part of the show’s ancestry. Fortunately, I happen to have written a book on the subject: mcfarlandbooks.com/product/amer...

I took this to mean by manufacture. Since I don't have VHS, I go through my dvd's and find.

Ayane's High Kick DVD 1998-10-06... which I paid .45 cents to own. Not an out and out classic, but it is enjoyable.

I started collecting in 2006, so most of my oldest DVDs and Manga are newer than 2000.
What’s the oldest out-of-print title you own?

I thought my day might be a touch busy because of a small flour prank I had to clean up.

Little did I know, there was a retaliation prank for the flour...
A whole walking trail for 50'+ through a hall with 1 inch of gravel, stones, a 300 Lb. concrete block, a park bench, and a 15' tree? limb?

And now... on 11/23/2025... exactly one year's clocktick later.

Wicked: For Good: Part II. I'm not as happy with it as I was with part one, and the blame for that may be entirely mine... I was kind of hoping the movie would be Wicked Part 2, AND effectively a 'The Wizard of Oz' remake; It isn't.
I only knew 'Wicked' from the soundtrack songs college students would play, but I liked 'Popular' as a stand alone song.

I went to see Wicked by myself today, 'Popular' has been one of my favorite songs for 17 years. I worried Ariana's take would ruin the song, but she nailed it.

SISU 2: Road to Revenge...

It's a very silly movie. My friend compared it to a Buster Keaton film... now he wants to rewatch 'The General'.

I have what I consider to be a flawless take: my personal take is SISU 2 is a live action Spy Vs. Spy movie.

I have Rocky River Retreat, it was the last of 3 big sets of my pre-Highschool Childhood. I never considered it being Horror adjacent because it's just so nice. I think part of why I got it despite its price is that it was about cabins and fishing, so my Dad liked it.

Started watching 'Nautilus' and... if they keep this up this will be my favorite version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea... not that the competition was fierce.

This show is giving me some serious "we have live action 'Last Exile' at home" vibes as of episode 2. and I'm so here for it.

I went to go see this movie for a different reason than why everyone else went. I have for 20 years, with 1 exception, skipped or dropped any anime associated with Yasuomi Umetsu. I showed up for Virgin Punk because it's titled Clockwork Girl.

I've been writing a clockwork girl novel for 15 years
Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl

I went to see it before it left the theater after tonight. I had a great time, and I watched all of it... when everyone left I had the theater to myself for an hour.

I also went back to my favorite Chinese buffet for the first time since I'd stopped going in 2020.
