I think the corollary that a lot of people miss about "write what you know" is that *you have the power to know more things.* Research and talking to people are a central part of writing!

seriously hoping we get a new Zelda game that's a return to form on Switch 2. BotW, TotK, and EoW mixing shit up was interesting, but I want more of the kind of Zelda games that were coming out when I was a kid, the likes of Wind Waker for 3D and Minish Cap for 2D

That's because if they didn't have an AI clause in place in their contracts, then there would be nothing the union could point to in court when suing companies that run afoul.
