The memories that this brings up are... man.
Seeing as it's been TWENTY YEARS (!?) since the Matrix Online came out (and 16 since it shut down), I'm feeling like I will at some point do a longer thread on this misunderstood gem, what it meant to me, and why it helped me behind a videogame writer.

Despite, regrettably, being A Bit Of A Tory™, Tom Stoppard is arguably my favourite playwright of them all.
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead has some of the most affecting and irreverent writing. I'm constantly in awe of it and him.

Rewatched the original Star Wars (A New Hope) today.
Obviously 'I love Star Wars' is baked in, but if you've not watched it in a while you can easily forget that the back half of that movie is some of the most genuinely thrilling stuff on film, back to back.
1977 must not have known what hit it.
