The nature of the position almost necessitates QBs transferring more than the average position, but I also think the below number (65% of QBs transferring within 2 seasons of starting college) points to a fundamentally broken system
There were 20 QBs invited to the Elite 11 in the summer of 2023. Including Dylan Raiola and DJ Lagway, 13 of them are either heading into the portal or have already transferred: www.nytimes.com/athletic/461...

Don’t doubt Matt’s personal experiences. Let’s just say they weren’t nearly as prompt/non-adversarial when we tried to do public records requests on Kristin Vesely.
At the P4 level? Off the top of my head:

They're professional, prompt, non-adversarial and don't charge crazy fees.

Big Cougar soccer transfer addition was made official today: Sierra McCluer, formerly SFA's starting goalkeeper the most recent 2 seasons. McCluer started 12 games for SFA under current HC Ben Williams in '24 & was 1st team all-conference/Southland goalkeeper of the year this past season.

Putting aside the autocratic Gulf petrostate-ness of it all (and hoo buddy, a LOT to put aside there). Basically, 0 chance the quality of basketball here is any good because I would imagine even the more well off teams in this event don't have it in the budget for 3-4 days of acclimation/jet lag.

Thought it was defensible when Nebraska extended Rhule and time has not vindicated me here
Nebraska gave Matt Rhule an extension and then closed the season by losing 37-10 to coachless Penn State and somehow allowing 40 points at home to Iowa
