When Houston hired Willie Fritz, I assumed he'd turn the Cougars into Big 12 title contenders by Year 4.

Might be sooner than that. Coogs are 6-1 after a 31-28 win over Arizona and bowl eligible for the first time since 2022 after going 4-8 each of the last two seasons.
