we're going to have to do a lot more work in the coming months to stop attemps to ban or criminalize the use of VPNs
Missouri's age verification law goes into effect today. 🚫

📈 Searches for VPNs are spiking in the state.

🔐 People know these laws put their privacy and sensitive data at risk. They find ways to get around bad laws, like using VPNs or going to non-compliant websites that don't check age.
Missouri to enforce mandatory age verification today
This is the latest US state to enforce age verification legislation

They're not hiding it, folks—straight up neo-Nazi advertising, from the font to the language to the 11 stars for the Confederacy. Then you have the DHS openly using white nationalist language of "remigrate", which means ethnic cleansing.

This is who MAGA is now.

Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

A day after it was reported Pete Hegseth ordered the murder of two men clinging to the wreckage of a boat that was already bombed by US forces

Trump threatened to blow up commercial airline flights into and out of Venezuela. This is what terrorists do

I repeat

Here are US military lawyers stating clearly that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's "kill everybody" orders are either (1) war crimes or (2) murder.

Either way, expect prosecutions in the future.

Trump putting the Washington Post and CBS News in his “Offender Hall of Shame,” even as they bend over backwards to curry favor tells us that nothing short of full propaganda mode will ever be acceptable to him. There's no way for a news organization to maintain credibility and be "fair" to Trump.

A U.S. soldier was executed on the streets of the U.S. capital, yet the flags remain at full-staff.

But when a hate-peddling podcaster was killed, the flags were lowered to half-staff within hours—and stayed that way for days.

WTH?

When Howard Dean was the Democratic frontrunner for President, he was disqualified, by the media, for yelling "Yeah!" once.

At some point we just have to admit that mainstream media sources are biased.
Remember in 2000 when Al Gore was repeatedly misquoted as having said he invented the internet and that was seen the eyes of many as disqualifying him from office? Simpler times. Today, Trump makes up lies equivalent to "I invented the internet" 30 times a week and no one bats an eye. Good job media
