A collection of 4 manticore and 4 sphinx. Clockwise from upper left: - Shahrokh, a deep brown manticore with golden front leg markings, a lighter brown mane, pale bat-like wings and scorpion tail. He is missing most of his tail but it is growing back. - Roshanak, a golden manticore with broken brown stripes, a short brown mane, and pale grey-brown bat wings and scorpion tail. She is missing her front right leg. - Indigo, a calico manticore with short brown hair and light vitiligo on their face. They have deep brown fur with spots of orange tabby, their back half is a dilute color. They have purple wings with gold accents. - Behruz, a pale cream and khaki manticore with stripes on his lower legs. His short scrappy mane is black but has been sun-bleached to reddish in spots. His wings and tail are also black and reddish brown, and he is missing most of his tail and parts of the fingers that make up his wings. - Tanith, a brown sphinx with short brown hair and cream underbelly. She has light spots and a large, jagged scar down her side. She also has green wings with copper-ish accents. - Mahnaz, a cream and blue manticore with khaki wings and tail, and short blue-black hair. - Alkyone, a dusty light brown sphinx with extremely short sparse fur and spotted markings. They have no mane and a short goatee. They have pale blue-grey wings with golden accents. - Iole, a small cream and khaki sphinx with short red-brown hair and a jagged scar across her throat. She has purple wings with silver accents. A collection of 3 sphinx and 3 manticore. From left to right, top to bottom: - Parisa, a very pale cream manticore with khaki wings and tail and a large reddish mane and tall ears. She has partial vitiligo around her eyes. - Hypatios, a slender sphinx with partial vitiligo on the bottom half of his face and from his neck down to his waist. He has a short ridge of ginger mane down the back of his neck, and blue wings with very pale gold accents. - Zhubin, a stockier cream manticore with brown stripey sock markings on his legs. His mane is large and brown, and his wings and tail match. His tail is also extremely spiky. He may be missing his right ear, it's hard to tell. - Aethon, a deep reddish brown sphinx with ochre underbelly and spotted sock markings. He has a dark brown, slightly greying ridge of a mane and mustard yellow wings with silver accents. - Zuleika, a very pale cream manticore with khaki wings and a reddish orange mane and tail. She has blue makeup as well. - Onesimos, a piebald sphinx with vitiligo on the left half of his face and in his pink wings. He has a khaki body with brown spots and patches of dilution, and his reddish brown mane is full and streaked with white. His wings have silver accents.

The call is a warning. (What is it?) The caller is someone you hate. (Who and why?) You piss the caller off. (How and why?) You push 3 coins into the slot and dial... Make a call It goes to the answering machine. (What do you say?) You called the wrong number. (Who is it?) The person who answers is happy you called. (Why?) The call gives you a lead. (Where to next?) You regret it as soon as you do... call the cops They get your real name. They get your current address. They accuse you of a crime. They send a squad car. When you use one of the moves above, roll a d4 and select that many options. If the options contradict, lean in and make it weird. Uses the OddFolk framework by Maxwell Lander, HUGEBOAR GAMES.

The physical edition of my solo game, Psalms for the Undertow, is now available for members of the Dirtgoblin Zine Club! Members get editions that include experimental materials. In this case that's a two player mechanic I'm currently testing, printed on vellum, and a piece of handmade paper (1/2)
