Manawydan fab Llŷr is the Welsh cognate of the Irish sea god, Manannán mac Lir. However, although they share linguistic roots and mythic ancestry, their roles diverage sharply across the two traditions. Notably, Manawydan is mortal, in contrast to Manannán's role as a deity.

We did it! Thanks so much to everyone who came to the Union Chapel gig today (and watched at home!). We premiered our cartoon, got Bunny + Monkey on stage to draw each other, and thanks to audience suggestions we drew a comic about bums + toilet bushes.I also got to hang with Max, who dressed as me!
