Stuff like this is exactly why I got into scanning/archiving as a hobby. It's so absurdly expensive and literally impossible for people to access rarities; which mean they become lost in a general sense.

I was procrastinating hard instead of starting a citation page for a Zelda guide: it turns out they have a ton of replies & they're a TERF, ableist, racist or pull-a-ladder-up-behind them, fat phobic, & would rather defend Regan than understand that bootstrapping isn't an answer to college loans

I have 161 Zelda guide-art files to upload, & write correct citations for, & I think I want any excuse to keep procrastinating- Because I'm going to get some info wrong, I can just feel it 😆

You can try to twist it, but you gave up your name so you could be Mrs Something. If you didn't like your former name, you could have changed it to anything other than your husband's. Own your choice.

* my wording there was weird. Meant that none of the things the money obsessed dudes did still exist, except one decaying house, but the women built other's lives up and those lives went on to keep doing things.

I don't know a single thing about my great grandfathers except their job, which hundreds of other people have had. All were obsessed with money. Not a single person is alive who remembers them or cares. My great grandmothers had lives after they died & some were fun. (I knew 3)

Family legacy is so weird. Grandkids at most will remember anything about you: & if this is all you "do" they probably wont remember anything good

What do these guys even remember?

Why can't they just build society up if they want a "legacy"

I didn't care about taking my husband's name but 1: it was cooler & 2: my dad didn't do shit so it made me happy to ditch it. I would have changed it just for fun

She'd go through everyone's closets and they'd find an outfit laid out on their bed. The next time someone would see Mary's ghost in the hallways or rooms she'd be wearing that outfit. She'd then hold her finger up to her mouth like "shh" and disappear. That's it. Love her.

Gurl. You would have loved the apparent ghost at my college's girls dorms. The dorms were an old hotel that was a brothel in the 20s. One of the working girls got murdered there. Skip forward to her living her best afterlife now:
