What? A Trump supporter? Moved to violence by the president's conspiracy theories? Well, I never.
BREAKING on MS NOW:

Brian Cole Jr., the suspect accused of being the Jan. 6 pipe bomber, confessed to agents that he planted the bombs and has indicated he supported President Trump, according to two people familiar with his interview.

It would not merely destroy capitalism -> it would destroy political systems, society, and much of human civilization. The jobless, starving masses would make sure of that.
The overinvestment in AI is an expression of the age-old capitalist dream to eliminate the workers' labour from capital, thus maximising the amount of surplus value going to capital, completely oblivious to the fact that this, if achievable, would destroy capitalism by eliminating value itself.

So the DOD IG concluded that Hegseth:

✅ endangered our service members;
✅ knowingly shared info that had been classified on Signal;
✅ obstructed the investigation;
✅ violated multiple DOD regulations; and
✅ basically did what Hillary did but A LOT worse.

Total exoneration!

The Republican Supreme Court justices believe that facts have a liberal bias
As Justice Kagan begins her dissent by pointing out, what is even the point of trial, of fact-finding, of clear error, of standards of review, when the Supreme Court simply ignores every single part of that and decides everything purely on the papers without any real consideration of the facts?

supreme court rules supreme court rules, coming soon
Last week, I spoke to SCOTUS scholar @leahlitman.bsky.social in an interview about how the Texas map case posed a test for the Roberts court.

It'd show "immense hypocrisy" to uphold Texas maps, but void Louisiana's, she said.

SCOTUS scholar Leah Litman says it would show "immense hypocrisy" to uphold Texas maps, but void the Bayou State's.

Remember that "bad" "red" states are only that way because the GOP lies, cheats, steals, gerrymanders, and suppresses voters in order to "win."
The Supreme Court just handed Texas Republicans at least 2 more House seats & possibly up to 5 despite the state GOP explicitly justifying their remap based on an unconstitutional use of race in redistricting.

Unsurprising from this court, and it's a bad sign for the upcoming Voting Rights Act case
BREAKING: Supreme Court sides with Texas Republicans in fight over congressional map. The new gerrymandered map will be used in the 2026 midterms. The vote is 6–3, with the Republican appointees siding with Texas.

My employer, Dartmouth College, today boasts it's 1st Ivy "to launch AI at an institutional scale." It is doing this by partnering--"more than a collaboration"--with Anthropic, a company that stole the books of many faculty, me included, which many of us are suing.

So the J6 bombing suspect is none of the people whose names have been circulating for years.
Brian Cole is the person in FBI custody who investigators believe left the pipe bombs, two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the matter told NBC News.

When you realize the roles people have who keep pushing AI and keep saying that there's no going back and you better get used to it, you see the authoritarianism well.

I want us to hang on to the fact that the people who were murdered were just civilians out in boats, most likely fishermen, who had never even heard the sketchy conclusions of American officials for which they were executed, much less had a chance to defend themselves.
Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."
