@arcraiders.bsky.social the "move half" on the rectangle button on PS is not doing anything, essentially, players cannot split stacks.

Today, I finally merged simulation islands for Avian!

Islands are graph-like structures where bodies are connected via contacts or joints. They are used for sleeping and waking, which is crucial for reducing CPU overhead for large scenes with many dynamic bodies.

Hot take: animation is cool and all, but if you opt in to make a loooong animation on some frequently happening event, it is hated.

The most popular examples: climbing or pickup animation. the amount of suffering buttons pushed in rage is staggering.

nice trick!
Been studying 3rd person camera and discovered a neat trick from Zelda
Walls blocking camera is commonly solved by moving the viewpoint closer. However when the wall is moved away, Link's camera doesn't immediately jump to its original position, instead only slowly recovers when there is user input.
