The fact that I said out loud “they hate us cause they ain’t us” when I pulled up the ESPN app today is patently absurd in 2025, yet here we are.

Today’s reason to cancel your subscription to the New York Times.
The Times doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt here. I’d love to know which reporter asked these questions.

Sitting alone at a brewery in Manchester, England, I saw this and said out loud, “oh, go the fuck away.” The guy next to me first thought I was talking to him, but it led to a delightful discussion about the state of New York politics.

And twice as many people ride the state-run trains daily in New York City than fly on planes!
So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

I reuse to believe this is an actual name of an actual British railway station.

It still astounds me that in 2025 McDonald’s still doesn’t offer a vegetarian menu item in the U.S. despite serving one in nearly every other place on earth.

7 years ago, I remarked how the travelators between Manchester Airport Terminal 2 and the train station never worked. 3 years ago I noticed they started renovating them. Renovations are finally complete and… 3 of the 5 travelators don’t work.

This fucking guy. I am so tired of him. It’s been nearly 12 years. Come on, Virgin Atlantic.

Well, glad I’m at the airport leaving for vacation right now.
BREAKING: The U.S. Department of Transportation announces it will reduce scheduled airspace capacity by 10% starting Friday morning if the government shutdown has not ended, citing "growing pressure" in the NAS as controllers and other personnel continue to go unpaid. Developing story.

If you ever wonder how un-democratic the Senate is, remember: more people voted for the mayor of New York than 49 sitting senators
Zohran has now gotten more votes, in New York City alone, than 49 members of the U.S. Senate did when they get elected; It's likely that, when the final tally is complete, he'll have gotten more votes than half of all Senators currently in office. *This* is what power and purpose looks like.

There's gonna be daily fake AI videos of subway violence running on Fox News. I'm willing to bet they'll do a segment on NYC crime at least 3 nights a week after January 1 when they swear in Zohran.
NYC is going to have the world's biggest media-manufactured crime panic in history the second Mamdani is elected. They aren't even going to wait until he is inaugurated. Whether or not you like the guy, you need to start preparing now for the fire hose of disinformation that is about to activate.

Bye, Andrew Cuomo. May you never be relevant in politics ever again, and may the disgusting racism and Islamophobia you resorted to in the final days of this race be added to your despicable legacy.

Imagine having a brain so poisoned by right-wing media that your impression of Zohran Mamdani is "he hates everyone" when his entire campaign has been the opposite of that. hellgatenyc.com/election-day...
