After two years, it is finally complete! This jigsaw puzzle, featuring my favorite piece by @jeffeasley.bsky.social did not come together easily. In October of 2023 I picked up a ‘complete’ puzzle on eBay, only to find it was REALLY incomplete. It didn’t even have the pieces with his signature! more

I finally got around to putting together the ‘518 pieces counted’ puzzle, and it is thankfully complete. Some of the pieces weren’t in the best shape, but it all works. I’ll glue it and make a backing for it and hang it in my room. I thought I’d be able to copy the needed pieces and make a… more

Here is the original puzzle, with all the missing pieces. I bought it intending to glue and hang it as I have with a couple of others (a Bruce Timm Star Wars, and R.E.M.’s Out of Time album cover), but with this many missing pieces, it was impossible. But this puzzle rarely shows on eBay. more

The main reason they exist has to do with airflow management in skyscrapers. Regular doors cause issues. Wikipedia says they’re actually (heating and cooling) energy efficient compared to regular doors
