See, what these Chardonnay liberals don’t understand is that, while Trump was very explicit about his plans to wreck the climate and kill lots of people, the price of eggs was up by, like, 18%, and the two people who lost to him were icky lady-types.

It's honestly astonishing that the people responsible for the incredible increase in housing costs, stagnant wages, and so much more in the last 30 years really convinced themselves that saving $5 a day is all you need to be able to afford a house.

I think this messaging is important in context, but yes, that’s what they voted for. And they should have to grapple with that fact.
Federal worker: My district went for Trump both in 2016 and 2024, and a lot of my friends supported him. But they didn't vote for the parks to close, health care costs to skyrocket, veterans to lose care, and for tens of thousands of federal employees to be at risk of losing their jobs.

I don’t understand why reporters bother with Mike Johnson. He has no updates to provide about the House. He has nothing newsworthy to say. He basically has no authority because he’s sold his branch out to the White House. All he does is repeat the same tired lies over and over.
