It costs about C$40 and you get to frolic with goats, shop farm produce, wander corn mazes, stroll among pumpkins, shoot a corn gun or pumpkin cannon, etc.
Fun family outing.

Went to Durry at the Fox Cabaret in Vancouver.
Twas a fun show full of punchy singalong altrock tunes.
A young fella came up to me, "Are you Nob?"
I thought was it someone from Bsky who took me up on my offer to say hi in exchange for a beer?
But it was my best man's son.
I bought him two beers.

I just provided my house, paid for most of the food and bevvies, and did much of the cleanup.
The dishwasher's doing its third load; not much more left than detachable parts of the stove.
Vacuum here and there, and the place's as good as new.
It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to be happy, guys.

The kids came home for their annual thanksgiving dinner.
Had a bunch of their friends and my local bud's fam join us for a steak and pasta dinner.
Great mix of bright, young people.
Interacting with them keeps me young and curious.
That's worth being grateful over.
