Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

Saint Paul Public Schools, one of the biggest school districts in the state, is closed for the next two days because teachers need time to build hybrid learning because unaccountable masked, armed federal government goons have made it too difficult for nonwhite children to leave their homes.

Irony is not (yet) dead.
The U.S. Department of Transportation brought to D.C. an automated bus to showcase its work on self-driving vehicles, taking officials from around the country on a ride.

One of those trips was interrupted when the bus got rear-ended by a Tesla.
Officials showed off a robo-bus in D.C. It got hit by a Tesla driver.
A Beep automated shuttle bus displayed by the U.S. Department of Transportation in D.C. this week got into a collision with a driver on H Street.

In happier news than what you’ve probably been reading today, I finished my first “kid quilt” of 2026. I had fun doing a crazy geometric-style quilting & added it in purple to the white border. Feels good to have made something to pass along some love & kindness in this crazy world.

More. Of. This!
Whoa! Special forces commanders are telling the pedophile führer that they will not draw up plans to invade America's ally, Greenland. Like leaders of the G7, U.S. military leaders are incresingly recognizing that Trump is psychologically damaged and unfit to be president. 😳👇

I remember learning about Nazis and McCarthyism and wondering how people allowed these things to happen.

I would ask: Why did the military go along? Why did the politicians go along? How were their citizens in favor of these atrocities?

I'm living it now and I have the same questions.

Gray, rainy day at the end of a week of bad news and insane politics, so I spent the day making a flower-filled quilt out of scraps, for a hospital-bound kid. I hope it will cheer them up as much as making it did for me. Tomorrow I’ll find a backing fabric, make the sandwich and start quilting it.

The world is a mess, but I know one thing for sure: I married a good man. Because today is his birthday, we did what we always do. We put on our fancy clothes and want to dinner at a fancy restaurant. No regrets on the marriage or the meal. Happy Birthday to the #onehundredpercentgoodhusband!
